Here at Minnesota Concrete we take safety very serious. Each week we have our entire field staff attend a safety meeting. These meetings are commonly known as a Tool Box Talks. Each week we select a different topic that covers field safety. We do a reading about the topic which often includes real life examples and stories and then have an open discussion about how we can implement the lesson.
Each new employee receives his or her own safety binder which goes over an array of different topics. To enhance safety further we have an open flag policy where any member of a crew can call out any other member, regardless of seniority, on unsafe behavior. Also, all incidents must be immediately reported to a supervisor and is documented.
We strive to provide a 100% safe working environment.
